Wasan began her professional journey in 2007 as a Chemistry Teacher and Coordinator at
Amna Bint Wahb Secondary School. In 2014, she moved into higher education as a Research
Advisor at the College of the North Atlantic – Qatar. Wasan joined Teach For Qatar in
2016 as a Science Program Manager, and in 2023, she transitioned to the role of Head
of Community Engagement. In her current position, she leads initiatives that enhance
the organization’s corporate responsibility and foster positive change within the Qatari
society. She works closely with various community groups, including students, teachers,
educators, and community leaders, to support professional development and build
meaningful impact.
Wasan also designs and facilitates specialized workshops in leadership and technical
fields, empowering individuals to excel in their leadership and professional pathways.
Wasan graduated in 2005 with a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Sciences from the
University of Baghdad, which laid a strong foundation for her professional career. In
addition to being an ILM-certified trainer certified by the Institute of Leadership and
Management in the United Kingdom, she is also a practitioner of the Myers-Briggs Type
Indicator (MBTI), and a qualified life coach accredited by the Global Horizon Training
Center. She is also certified as a Leadership Circle Profile (LCP) Practitioner and
a Leadership and Coaching Framework Practitioner through the Canadian Global Center and
ILM. In 2023, Wasan completed a Strategic Leadership Certification at the University of
Toronto in Canada.
