Rawan Al-Nassiri is recognized for her energy and extensive expertise in communication. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Communication and Media Studies from Northwestern University in Qatar. To further expand her academic journey, she completed a master’s degree in Digital Humanities and Societies from Hamad Bin Khalifa University, where her thesis explored the representation of Muslim women within the media industry.
Rawan’s dedication to education and leadership was demonstrated during her time as a Fellow in the Leadership Journey Program at Teach For Qatar, where she served as an English teacher for two years.
As a representative of the College of Humanities and Social Sciences at Hamad Bin Khalifa University, Rawan actively contributes to academic dialogue. Beyond her professional endeavors, she produced a documentary that premiered at the Cannes Film Festival and won the Best Documentary Award at the Ajyal Film Festival. Her multidimensional journey highlights her unwavering commitment to education, leadership, and creative expression.
Rawan is currently a Newsroom Specialist in the Communications Department at Qatar Foundation, where she oversees project management and relationship coordination.
She is a certified trainer by ILM Education Consultants in Qatar and has designed and delivered a variety of workshops aimed at fostering and enhancing leadership skills among individuals and the wider community.
